Dr. Russell is a chiropractic orthopedist (1994) and an Accident Reconstructionist through Northwestern Traffic Institute.


He performs permanent impairment ratings, disability exams, independent medical exams and record reviews for second opinions. Dr. Russell’s education started at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He got his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and went on to get his Masters of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomechanical Trauma in conjunction with a core curriculum in Health Care Administration through Lynn University. 

Dr. Russell has never stopped his education and continues to take classes to receive the most modern education.


His Post-Graduate studies include workshops and classes such as Whiplash Biomechanics & Injury Traumatology, Advanced Certification, Spine Research Institute of San Diego, 15th Annual Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD) Scientific Conference, Certificate of Completion from AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment 5th Edition: Advanced Issues and Updates for Performing an Accurate AMA Report and many more.

Dr. Russell was listed under “America’s Top Chiropractors” 2009 by Consumers’ Research Council of America, the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists (ACCO) awarded him “Chiropractic Orthopedist of the Year 1997-1998.”, he was given a Certificate of Merit for superior clinical proficiency in the capacity of Unit Assistant in the Palmer College of Chiropractic Clinic, and many other awards and recognitions.


Dr. Russell has been the Chiropractic Orthopedic Physician for the Las Vegas Gladiators (Professional Arena Football Team), Chiropractic Orthopedic Physician for the Las Vegas Wranglers (Professional Hockey Team), he was Elected and served as President of the Council of Chiropractic Orthopedists (CCO).


*The CCO is a specialty council and operates under the direction of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA).


Dr. Russell was designated by the State of Nevada, Division of Industrial Relations, as a Permanent Partial Disability (PPD) Evaluator and performs PPD evaluations for injured workers. He is on the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME), is a Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner (CICE), Independent Record Reviewer and Permanent Impairment Rater.


Dr Russell is an Experienced Independent Medical Examiner, Permanent Impairment Rating, and Independent Records/Chart Reviews and has performed 1000’s of these examinations over the last 15 years! Despite his education and awards Dr. Russell makes each patient feel special.
